Very Basic Ring Design Using Household Electric Wire.

In this post, I will go over how to use old household wire to make the ring pictured above.
In this how-to you will need:
  • One ring mandrel.
  • One old household electric wire. It can be found at Home Depot.
  • One pair of micro miniature pliers.
To start, place your wire on the ring mandrel at about two sizes too small. Don't worry you will size it bigger later. Next you want to wrap the wire around once. When you get done, the ends of the wire should be pointing left to right if you hold the ring facing you.  Next, you will take your pair of micro miniature pliers and start to bend the wire ends into circles like in the picture above. Once done, you have made a very simple ring out of old home electrical wire. Now you can push the ring down your mandrel until it is your ring size. There, you're done!
